In May 2008, my online quilt friend, Jennie Sherlock, lost her battle with breast cancer. Jennie was a very talented Australian quilter. I'd known her, between one online group and another, for probably about 15 years. I felt fortunate that I'd gotten to meet her at our quilt gathering in Conneticut in 2007. In April we'll be having another gathering---this time in my hometown. As hostess, I decided it would be sweet to have a quilt challenge, where we'd make quilts and donate them to local women fighting breast cancer. Here are the three I have so far.
