New floors

On Valentine's day Tom and I were painting the kitchen and the second bathroom---how romantic is that? We finished up in time for the new floors to be installed. Here is what the old kitchen floor looked like:


Apparently this floor was installed in 1968. I will not miss it.

Our house is only just starting to get back to normal. I have a lot of cleaning up to do. The refrigerator and stove had to be moved out and were in the diningroom! The fridge was still functional but we lived on left overs, heated in the microwave. Come to think of it, that's not really out of the ordinary...
