First we had more snow than I ever remember seeing here in my lifetime....and now it's raining torrents. I-5, a major freeway, has 40 miles of it closed due to flooding. Trains have been cancelled between Portland and Seattle. The passes are closed because of avalanche and mud slide problems. I've never been SO glad to be on high ground! Let's all try to keep to higher ground, friends...
