One of the places we visited was the Turtle Farm. The Cayman Islands were called Las Tortugas by Christopher Columbus (which means The Turtles) because of the abundance of sea turtles in the area. Unfortunately, they are endangered now but bred here at the Farm. Some are released back into the wild, but others end up as main courses in restaurants!
