Banff
Banff National Park is gorgeous, even in the snow! Liz and I went on a hike to Sundance Canyon, although we didn't make it as far as the canyon. A lot of the trail was covered in snow and at one point, Liz pointed out bear tracks! (eek)
Fortunately, we didn't see the bear...but we did see loons and Canada Geese (real ones, seeing as how this was Canada, after all) Snowy mountains, trees...it was beautiful. See for yourself!
After drinking in fresh air and wonderful scenery--we lunched on yogurt, cheese rolls and my all time favorite, Crunchy Bars, sitting on a grassy bank by a lake. A perfect day!
