Christmas Morning

This is the first Christmas in 32 years, when we haven't had any of our children in the house! Empty Nest. Hmm. Usually I like it, but for Christmas? Not so much. However, later Jim and Sheena came over for brunch, followed by the traditional ripping and shredding of wrapping paper. Many goodies were exchanged! Obviously we have all been very very good this year... The following are photos of the day, posted particularly so Liz can see them. The rest of you (is there anyone else out there?) well, you can look too--or if you'd rather, go slurp some eggnog and have a wonderful holiday!

It looks to me like all of you were very very good.......even the CAT! Glad you had a nice holiday. Ours was very quiet and relaxing - phone calls from family and opening presents in the afternoon. Even the food was easy - I baked rolls and made minestrone soup. After all the holiday sweets, the soup was a nice change.

Hi Yvonne :)
Yes, there are "others" out there that read :) I enjoy reading your blog and loved seeing your family enjoy the holiday festivities. Love the fat quarters that Tom got for you, what a sweet man. Any prints Hitty size?

Thanks for sharing your photos and stories.

Hi Barb! Nice to see you here! I'm glad you dropped by. Ooh yes, there are several Hitty-appropriate prints in that box of fat quarters. :-)
